Celebrating the best in internal comms

It’s been a year to remember for internal communications professionals, and The Simplys provided the perfect opportunity to reflect on successes from around the community. We were proud to sponsor this important community event and even more pleased to see so many Unily customers recognized for their hard work.

Hosted by powerhouse UK-based consultancy, Simply Communicate, the awards shone a spotlight on some of the most inspiring campaigns, projects and people in the internal comms space. Amongst the winners, three Unily-powered entries earned themselves first place and highly commended:

  • National Grid - first place for Best Intranet 
  • NATS Holdings - highly commended for Best Intranet 
  • EY - first place for Best Campaign

The awards didn’t just recognize the best project outcomes, but also the people behind their success. Two Unily customers were awarded for personal achievements, with Alzheimer’s Research UK’s Aoife Casson highly commended for best IC rising star, and GMI Construction’s Ian Cheveau highly commended for IC leader of the year.

As the well-deserved winner of the Best Intranet of 2022, National Grid caught the attention of the Simply judges with Grid:Home. Since its launch in 2019, Grid:Home has gone on to win several awards on account of its strategic design and intelligent personalization.
