For the first time ever, this masterclass was recently brought to Auckland, New Zealand; equipping more professionals from around the globe with knowledge and inspiration on how to utilize their own intranet platform to engage employees.
Held on Tuesday 7th May at the Microsoft offices, over 60 people attended this exciting one day event. Amongst those in attendance were internal communications teams and IT teams from a broad range of companies and sectors, including healthcare, automotive and banking.
Learning how to maximize engagement with an employee intranet
A breadth of topics were presented by our intranet experts at the masterclass; sharing best practice and insight on how to ignite employee engagement from an intranet. With attendees coming from a range of industries and backgrounds, key intranet strategies that could be tailored to unique business goals were explored.
Some attendees were in the midst of adopting an intranet platform whilst other attendees were seeking ideas on how to refresh their current intranet design with engaging content and page layout.
Sessions such as intranet design explored what engaging design actually looks like whilst the topic on social investigated how engagement can be driven with a social intranet by optimizing gamification features. Other topics included Artificial Intelligence and Integrations whilst there was plenty of opportunity to ask questions and seek advice.

A Successful First Masterclass in New Zealand
Thanks to all our attendees who travelled from far and wide (some who even had a 4am wake-up call!) to come to our first ever intranet masterclass in Auckland.
The atmosphere was alive on the day with attendees engaged and eager to learn from speakers and each other. Throughout the presentations there was live polling whilst attendees shared their own insights on social media platforms.
