AbbVie - My AbbVie
My AbbVie is the dynamic and centralized digital hub that connects employees, fosters innovation, expands knowledge, builds culture and elevates the employee experience. The homepage stands out with a clean design and strategic use of widgets to deliver a personalized experience to all of My AbbVie’s 45k users. Communications delivery is enhanced with the use of ‘Personalized Stories For You’ which leverages user data to promote recommended content, alongside ‘News To Share On Social’ used to support employee advocacy. The page is complemented by ‘My Site’ where integrations with the Microsoft stack enable a single-pane-of-glass view to employees' emails, calendars, Teams and OneDrive. Combined, these pages serve to boost employee productivity while strengthening purpose and culture.
iRobot - HomeBase
HomeBase serves as both an inviting welcome to all of iRobot’s employees and provides the most important highlights from across the company. A year after launching, iRobot used homepage metrics and employee feedback to influence their homepage refresh. The new homepage improves the balance between communications and the tactical needs of employees. It features links to Diversity & Inclusion pages, customer highlights, weekly polls, a kudos leaderboard, an Insights corner, and a custom-built widget that automatically features every new hire on day one. Judges commended iRobot’s clean design and use of media.
Pearson - The Hub
Pearson’s mission is to create vibrant and enriching learning experiences designed for real-life impact, and The Hub is a real-world example of Pearson’s values in action. The Hub homepage offers a stripped backed view of the most important items for Pearson’s 21k employees. News and events are balanced against ‘People of Pearson’ stories, encouraging employees to get to know colleagues outside of their immediate teams. A regularly updated quiz demands interaction from first sight and a ‘Hub tip of the week’ widget guides employees on new ways to get value from their platform. The page mixes culture and comms to great effect, delivering a digestible feed of items to employees that reduced cognitive burden and guides them on what matters most.
