Business Associate Addendum (BAA)

Some Unily customers operate as Covered Entities under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Where a customer chooses to process Protected Health Information (PHI) within the Unily platform, a Business Associate Addendum (BAA) is required to outline the parties’ respective responsibilities under HIPAA.

To support these customers, Unily provides a standard Business Associate Addendum (BAA) that sets out the required safeguards and obligations when Unily acts as a Business Associate. Customers whose use of the platform involves PHI may review and execute the BAA to ensure the appropriate HIPAA‑compliant protections are in place.

The BAA has been pre-signed by Unily and can be downloaded below. It can be executed by the customer signing and returning it to privacy@unily.com.
