Lucchese Boot Giveaway Terms & Conditions

  1. Eligibility
    The giveaway is open globally to employee experience professionals working in internal communications, human resources (HR), or information technology (IT).

  2. Entry Methods 
    Maximum of two (2) entries per person:
    - One (1) entry for liking and tagging an employee experience peer on the specified LinkedIn post.
    - One (1) entry for purchasing an in-person Unite 25 ticket (virtual tickets do not qualify). 

    The LinkedIn action must be completed on the official Unite 25 giveaway post. 
    Only the first entry of each category specified above will be recognized as a relevant entry for the purposes of the giveaway.  

    We reserve the right to disregard entries which are: 
    (a) automatically generated by computer or created by artificial intelligence (including but not limited to chatbots such as ChatGPT or similar software applications); 
    (b) completed by third parties or in bulk; or 
    (c) have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with. 

  3. Entry Period 
    Entries must be received by 11:59 PM CT on August 31, 2025. All entries received after 11:59 PM CT on August 31, 2025 are automatically disqualified. 

  4. Winner Selection & Notification 
    The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received before the cutoff date. 
    The winner will be notified via the email address used for their Unite 25 ticket purchase within 7 days of the contest closing. 

  5. Prize Details 
    The prize is a Lucchese gift card or equivalent credit, redeemable for a pair of Lucchese cowboy boots of the winner’s choice, up to a value of $1,200 USD (including shipping and applicable taxes). 

    If the selected boots and associated costs exceed $1,200, the winner is responsible for any additional amount. 

    The organizer will coordinate with the winner to fulfill the prize. The winner will have [x] number of days to claim the prize. If the prize is not claimed within 28 days of being notified of the win, the prize becomes invalid and we reserve the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant selected from the correct entries submitted before 11:59 PM CT on August 31, 2025. 

  6. General Conditions and Data Protection
    By accepting the prize, participants consent to the use of their name and professional title in Unite 25 promotional materials and announcements. We will only process your personal information as set out in the Privacy Notice found at: https://www.unily.com/policies/privacy-hub/privacy-notice   

    The organizer reserves the right to verify eligibility and to disqualify any entrant found to be tampering with the entry process or violating these terms. 

    The prize is final, non-transferable and not redeemable for cash. 

  7. Limitation of Liability 
    The organizer is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, or misdirected entries, or for any technical failures. 

    By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the organizer and Lucchese from any liability arising from participation or prize use to the fullest extent permitted by law.

    This giveaway is sponsored by the Unite 25 event organizer and is not affiliated with LinkedIn or Lucchese beyond prize fulfillment.
