Leading healthcare service provider partners with Unily for digital workplace success

Unily, a leading digital workplace provider, is proud to announce a partnership with Cardinal Health to create a next-generation intranet to empower their employees to make healthcare more efficient and improve the lives of patients.

Cardinal Health is a global, integrated healthcare services and products company that operates in over 40 countries and serves 90% of U.S. hospitals. Cardinal Health is transforming internal communications and knowledge sharing at a time when it is needed most. The new intranet will help Cardinal Health respond to growing demands with increased efficiency; arming employees with the tools to help their customers deliver the highest standards of patient care.

From a design perspective, Cardinal Health sought a new platform to connect all global employees with rich internal communications and help them quickly find information and tools they require to do their jobs efficiently. In addition, the native mobile app with targeted push notifications affords every employee access to information from any device, anywhere. These new features will offer employees a seamless and personalized platform to allow them to do their best work.

Jo Skilton, Chief Commercial Officer for Unily, says: “We’re pleased to be working with one of the largest healthcare businesses in the world to create a next-generation intranet. In these difficult times, it is integral that we stay connected and communicate with one another. Our partnership with Cardinal Health will boost employees’ ability to deliver the best healthcare services and products across the globe and help them remain at the forefront of their sector.”

“Our existing intranet no longer meets the evolved needs of our associates. We are excited to work with Unily to build a solution that will unify our global employees while giving them an intuitive digital experience, with quick access to the resources they need to be successful at Cardinal Health,” says Kerry Christopher, VP of Corporate Communications at Cardinal Health

Unily has built a reputation for supporting digital transformations for international healthcare organizations, such as with Dynacare and Public Health England, as well as a diverse portfolio of global brands such as British Airways, Shell, and L’Oréal.
