Unite 26 | Scaling AI that Works: From Foundations to Enterprise EX Capability at Dentsu

Unily

dentsu’s AI Hub is now the most-viewed site on its intranet, with 70 times more views than the platform average. Discover how fixing its content foundations first gave AI something worth amplifying.

Session Overview

AI amplifies poor content as well as it amplifies good content. If the knowledge behind a tool is inaccurate, outdated, or unowned, nobody can trust the answers. A year after launching dentsu Dot, its global intranet, dentsu found encountered this exact problem and their platform wasn’t ready to act as a knowledge base for AI.

The ambition was bigger than a cleanup. With over 67,000 teammates in over 110 markets, dentsu wanted one trusted intelligence layer that connects its people, knowledge, and AI. They call this “PI times AI”: people intelligence amplified by artificial intelligence. The goal was to evolve dentsu Dot from an employee experience hub into an employee intelligence hub.

That started with trust. dentsu cleared out what it no longer needed and found a way for a small team to make governance a habit instead of a once-a-year heavy lift. With those foundations in place, it built AI only where it solves a real business problem: An AI Hub gives teams one destination for approved tools, learning pathways, and responsible-use guidance. Client IQ turns dentsu’s thought leadership library into answers for client and growth teams. A People Agent makes global policies easier to understand, and a Copilot Connector brings governed content into the flow of work.

Watch the session to see how dentsu redesigned its intranet to embed AI into workflows and act as a trusted beacon of company knowledge, and why they believes the next phase belongs to AI orchestrators, not AI experts.
