Session Overview
Many intranet teams run on one or two people, yet they own an experience that sits at the core of every employee’s working day. Headcount is hard to change and budget is rarely easy to grow, which leaves one resource that matters most: your time.
So where do you start? Not by doing everything at once. Suzie Robinson’s (ClearBox) digital workplace framework uses a town planning analogy that gives small teams a way to decide where their time makes the biggest difference and five management areas to bring structure to an intranet that touches every part of the business.
From finding a sponsor who isn’t necessarily your boss to building an intranet team without hiring anyone, the session explores how to extend your reach, share the load, and give employees a reason to keep coming back. It also shows why the answer to a gap in your digital workplace isn’t always a new tool.
Watch the session to get a practical playbook for running your digital workplace on limited resources. The Q&A goes further, with candid advice on communicating trade-offs to stakeholders, recognizing when doing more with less stops being sustainable, and why falling page views don’t always mean your messages aren’t landing when employees use AI agents to summarize the intranet.
What you’ll learn
Watch the session to discover:
- Why a short, signed-off strategy matters, including how it gives you grounds to challenge new tools that would affect the employee experience
- How to research employee needs without breaking the budget
- How to share the governance load by filling roles from outside your own team
- Why “poor search experience will kill your intranet,” and how to simplify your digital workplace by mapping which tool owns which service
