JMT set to redesign employee experience with a Unily intranet

JMT, a professional services enterprise that excels in architecture and engineering, has partnered with Unily to launch a new intranet set to fuel engagement and productivity. The new platform will support the 100% employee-owned company in delivering a modern employee experience that culture to prosper and innovation to thrive.

Upgrading productivity and engagement with a modern intranet

Within the past decade, JMT’s workforce has nearly quadrupled in size. Since launching nearly 50 years ago, JMT’s ongoing commitment to quality has propelled the enterprise forward. Currently, the organization spans ~2,000 employees who work in 40 different offices across the United States.

After a period of rapid growth, the company required a comprehensive digital workplace solution to support cohesion and wider digital transformation strategy.

The new platform is expected to reduce silos, encourage collaborative work, and upgrade productivity by centralizing resources. Core requirements for the solution include simplified user experience, advanced search capabilities, and seamless integration with third-party apps and tools.

From build to buy

Previously, the enterprise had relied on a legacy platform built on SharePoint 2010 that was dated and difficult for employees to use. After weighing the pros and cons associated with multiple options, JMT chose Unily on account of its impressive user experience and configuration options.

Glen Chambers, Unily’s Senior Vice President of Sales, said of the partnership:

“Partnering with JMT has been an exciting opportunity to help a leading enterprise optimize internal workflows and collaborative processes through a bespoke solution. With their 50th year in business approaching, we are confident that this platform will usher in a new era of innovation for the top-regarded organization.”
