Microsoft has just announced that BrightStarr is a Global Partner of the Year Finalist for Collaboration and Content. Coinciding with this, today is also the day BrightStarr are releasing the latest version of their Intranet as a Service platform, Unily. BrightStarr is on a roll, having just won another award for their Unily solution in the “Best of Breed” category from Metalogix last month at the Microsoft Ignite conference.
Unily represents the first evergreen intranet solution that is able to draw upon the evolutionary nature of Microsoft’s cloud platform, harnessing its power for an enterprise portal that can actually appreciate over time. This is the first significant update to the Unily platform and is in line with the Office 365 roadmap and the latest industry developments.
The Spring Update includes a completely reimagined user experience, in several form and function areas, including an extremely slick new homepage with content targeted through an intelligent Smart Feed. This delivers a truly personalized intranet experience. Performance enhancements include continued development to the Unily caching engine as well as comprehensive architectural improvements to increase speed and completely cut page load times. The Unily solution has also made significant improvements to Yammer integration as well as preparing for Delve and One Drive integration. The list of updates highlights the holistic approach BrightStarr has regarding its Unily solution.
