My name's David Fletcher, I'm the Unily sales manager here at BrightStarr. BrightStarr is an organization and a Microsoft Gold partner. We effectively make SharePoints and all the other Microsoft workloads not only functional but look very good. The awards that we win particularly around SharePoint and the intranets we build, such as prestigious awards as the Nielsen Norman award, which is effectively the Oscar of intranet awards, given out once a year. In the last six years, we have won five of those. So it's a real big deal for us.
Unily is our quite new-to-market solution. It's a cloud-based offering that integrates all of the great parts of Office 365 and delivers an intranet that has the same look and feel as those award-winning ones, but in a much shorter time. And instead of building from the ground up, it integrates all of the existing technologies that Microsoft gives you in the Office 365 stack.
So Unily as a platform will sit within the client's tenant, so that the SharePoint environment or whatever is your environment and it integrates all of the features or nearly all the features that Office 365 has to offer. So I mentioned Skype for Business, Yammer, Delve; so Delve's the new intelligence engine or office graph. It also looks inside OneDrive and as I say, is built pretty much within SharePoint. All of the content will live within SharePoint or Azure depending on your preferences.
With Unily, the only way you are going to get all the benefits and features is by having Office 365. What we do very, very well is we make SharePoint look good and we make it very functional. And that's what we want to spend most of our time doing.
So the Onboarding Center really completes the package, well, the offering that Unily is. Microsoft Onboarding Center is a team of cherry-picked engineers that Microsoft has put together to really push the Office 365 or cloud offering. They effectively will go and do a certain amount of work load that needs to be done to get the customer ready on Office 365, effectively for free for the client. So historically where a company such as ourselves or some of our competitors or colleagues out there would go and charge a lot of money to get everything ready for Office 365, so email migrations, SharePoint setup, Yammer setup, that's no longer the case because the Onboarding Center at Microsoft, based out of Reading in Thames Valley Place have put this team together of very, very competent engineers to go and speak to the customer. And although it is remote, it's not on the site, its a very hand-held process walking a customer through and taking care of a lot of the workloads that would otherwise be lengthy and costly.
In a nut shell, the Onboarding Center is making life a lot easier for BrightStarr. It's making my life easier trying to sell Unily because as I say, the overall package or solution that I'm effectively selling with Unily is an easier story to tell. I think from a customer's perspective, they're now, if they already have Office 365, they're realizing the benefits through Unily and through the Onboarding Center.
The time to actually deliver is fantastic, thats the big selling point for me is that the Onboarding Center will engage within two weeks and we will build our solution within six weeks. So really, within eight weeks from buying Office 365, you can not only have Office 365 rolled out across the entire organization, but you've also got a great-looking intranet you can use or get user adoption to use all those workloads that they've actually purchased.
