For Unily Engage workers who don’t have access to Office 365 tools like OneDrive and SharePoint Online, Unily Documents is available. Essential documents like the staff handbook can be stored directly onto Unily, allowing every user to consume vital information.

If your documents are currently stored on SharePoint on-premises or on another platform, our technical team will work with you to sync your content across to Office 365 and Unily or to implement a Hybrid search to surface your on-premises documents in the cloud. We also support with your directory configuration, helping to define your SharePoint site and permission structure, while guiding on how best to structure your taxonomy to enable more efficient searches. Post-launch, we work with your team through any updates to the document directory and support on any queries around how to use the platform best. It’s not just your head office workers who need access to documents, there’s some information that’s essential to all. That’s why Unily allows you to store essential documents directly within the Content Management System, rather than just through OneDrive and SharePoint. This means every user, including those who don’t have access to Office 365, will be able to view the latest employee handbook or health and safety guidelines. With Unily’s Document Preview tool, Unily Hub and Engage users can explore, download and print within the preview, with Unily Hub users able to edit the document through web applications if available.
Unily has two unique licensing models designed to address the needs of your specific worker profiles. Unily Hub is our Office 365 integrated solution for those employees who require full access to collaboration and productivity tools, while Unily Engage is available for users who may not require an Office 365 account, such as those working off-site in a retail store. Unily Hub users will have access to the full functionality set, including integration with Delve, OneDrive for Business and documents as part of SharePoint Online. Unily Engage users will only have permission to read-only documents that are stored directly on Unily’s Content Management System, with no collaboration functionality.
