Unily customizations come in many shapes and sizes, from lightweight links to applications, tweaks and additions to core page designs. More intricate integrations with data feeds, surfacing content from bespoke or in-house developed applications are also second nature to our team.

Office 365 Integration

Integration with tools in the Office 365 Suite including SharePoint Online, Yammer, OneDrive for Business, Office Graph (Delve) and Skype for Business is out of the box with an enhanced user experience to drive usage. Not only can we surface documents stored in SharePoint, we also provide a security trimmed view of sites an individual user has access to.

Unily Apps and Tools allow the intranet administrator to provide quick links to other applications that employees require to do their job, via a fully qualified domain name (FQDN). Apps can also be targeted to users based on profile properties such as role, department or location.

Custom Data Feeds

Unily allows you to integrate bespoke or in-house developed custom applications to allow users to consumer an existing data feed or end point. Examples have ranged from consuming an XML data feed to display internal job vacancies, through to issuing live queries to a securely hosted SQL Azure database pulling and presenting client data.

Unily Endpoints

Unily has the ability for its own endpoints to be written to by other applications. For example, integrating with common external business process workflows such as an SAP based absence leave request process. An endpoint within Unily can be called by the app’s workflow process to trigger notifications to be sent to users of the outcome of a request, based on information from within SAP.

Third Party Application Integration

Unily allows for easy integration with other off the shelf products. Whether it be a documents solution such as Dropbox integrating with our Unily documents experience or Chatter becoming the default Unily social experience, integrating with established third party products with supported APIs is a common integration option.

Unily global content search

Hybrid Search

One of the most effective ways to surface enterprise content into a Digital Workplace solution is via a global search capability. This is possible using the Microsoft based Hybrid approach to surface content from on-premises systems such as earlier versions of SharePoint. We can also integrate an existing search engine within Unily, issuing queries to the external search engine and presenting the results within a Unily page for consistent look and feel.

Unily has two unique licensing models designed to address the needs of your specific worker profiles. Unily Hub is our Office 365 integrated solution for those employees who require full access to collaboration and productivity tools, while Unily Engage is available for users who may not require an Office 365 account, such as those working off-site in a warehouse environment. Unily analytics tracks activity across both your Unily Hub and Unily Engage users, giving you a comprehensive overview of usage across your intranet.
