They needed a new way to keep this valuable community informed of the latest and curated news, updates, customer stories and events, while empowering them to gather knowledge, insights and ideas from the community. The ARC portal is about more than supplying the Analyst community with relevant news and information, it is designed to derive insights and ideas while helping Analysts connect with peers. The community directory allows analysts to search for peers refined by their specialist area, using further search functionality to filter by location, team or skill. Analysts are empowered to publish their own content using the intuitive content management system, adding to an accessible internal knowledge pool that was previously impossible. Social integration across the portal powered by Yammer allows analysts to comment and react to content that is published for example on the analysts' regular webinars. Microsoft customized the portal to include new capabilities including Question of the Week, Tips, Ambitions and an FAQ to encourage even more engagement across the portal.
