To make an impact, the intranet was launched via an all-hands meeting with a License-to-Succeed spy theme. The CEO was featured in an engaging video that launched a scavenger hunt through the site with a $500 prize. The site is constantly updated to keep content fresh and users coming back, with monthly contests and weekly Hot Topics emails delivered to push people back to the site. Ellie Mae’s success can be measured through analytics; highlighting 100% of users are active on the intranet, 60% regularly respond to surveys and forms and 40% regularly attend online events. Executive buy-in has remained high and the overall response from employees has been extremely positive.
